Size Chart & Fit Information

Tea Towel Dress

A relaxed fit dress that’s designed to slip over the head without the need for fastenings. The scoop neck is finished with bias binding that matches the sleeves and bottom ruffle tier (if added). The v-neck is finished with a facing.

The side and back of the skirt of the dress is gathered and features in-seam pockets.

The dress length varies as tea towel lengths vary. I do my best to indicate the lengths on individual listings. You can always add a bottom ruffle tier to create more length.

Dress length is measured from shoulder to hem.

The short dress length measures about 34″ or 86.5cm (depending on tea towel used)

The midi dress length measures about 44″ or 111.8cm

*If you want a custom length, input it in your order notes. Anything over 38″ needs to select the added ruffle for midi length.

Measuring Guide

Bust: Bring the tape measure over your bust at the fullest part (usually the nipple area) keeping the tape horizontal across your back.

Waist: Make a circle with the tape measure and slowly close the circle until it sits across the middle of your abdomen. This may not be the most narrow part of your waist, but the tape measure will sit about half way between the underarm and hip.

Hips: Make a circle with the tape measure around your hips and slide it down, easing it out slowly until the tape sits on the lowest part of your hip bone, generally in line with your crotch.

Upper arm: Measure around the widest part of your upper arm or bicep.
